The man squints under the sunlight
He tries to remember what he dreamt last night
Shaking his head he
returns to the platform, but he
keeps looking up hoping for more
things to come his way 'cause he
sees strangers every day
greets strangers every day
and he can't escape or find a way
to get out of the uneventful life that
he
leads everyday
sweeping the dust
scrubbing any rust
dreaming is a must
so that he goes on without a sigh
as tomorrow, he
returns to where he left off today
and starts again.

What's long overdue
This letter is long overdue
By the time it reaches you
I’m sure everything’s passed
Whatever it is I’ve mentioned inside
Another day’s gone by
Another day without you
A day closer to get to you
I just hope till that day comes
You won’t forget about me
The season has changed
From summer to winter
But memories of you remain
In every bit of my mind
Unaltered…
